*Admission of patients to the medical unit of brain and nerve surgery (neurosurgery) of the VM Medical Park Florya hospital of the IAU, Prof. Dr. Serdar Albayrak received his medical degree from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine between
1991 and 1998. He completed his specialized training in Neurosurgery Department of Istanbul University Medical Faculty at Medical Faculty from Istanbul between 1998 and 2004 and obtained the title of specialist in brain and nerve surgery (neurosurgery).
*His areas of interest include treatment practices for many diseases such as epilepsy and brain tumors, and innovative applications such as brain pacemaker surgery (Parkinson’s dystonia tremor disease), tumor surgery, therapy of pain, microsurgery, the Gamma Knife. He has also specialized in areas such as epilepsy surgery, microsurgical treatment of brain tumors, treatment of tangles and cerebrovascular bullae.
*IAU VM Medicalpark Florya Hospital provides services with its medical staff with extensive experience and high-level training in the field of surgical treatment of brain tumors. Being oneof the precious doctors of this unit, Prof. Dr. Serdar Baki Albayrak worked abroad as a surgeon and researcher at Harvard University Hospital in the United States and Helsinki University Hospital in Finland.*The doctor, who performs surgical treatments using the most advanced methods provided by medical technology, has received high-level training abroad in the United States and Germany on many of the procedures he performs. In addition to
the training he received in our country in the field of medicine, Albayrak successfully completed numerous international training and studies, gained experience of treating patients in 30 different countries of the world and deserved to receive various certifications. In addition to tumor surgery, he also conducted cancer research and learned about innovative treatments in the field of biotechnology.
